Some Prosonians are Pranksters

It is fun to be a perception, and even more fun when you can control the direction of the perception. Being mischievous is also a Prosonian trait.

One comes to mind. Many years ago Roseanne Barr was asked to sing the national anthem at a Los Angeles Dodgers baseball game. An un-named Prosonian stepped in and did the singing, it was not Roseanne. It was perceived as her, but it was a Prosonian.

Many of your politicians of today, are actually harboring what we call Prosnonian Spirits. These are not full time body takeovers, just what the Prosnonians call, well, they just call it "being a politician." That has its own definition, and one that is difficult to explain.

We don't have "politicians," as you call them on Prosonia. Our society is governed by the Parama, and no one really knows the makeup of the Parama. It is just there. The Book of Parama, as it is sometimes called evolved a Gleon ago, and it is still the governing book of record to this day. The Parama only interprets the word of the Book.

The Parama is the official governing force on Prosonia, but, for entertainment, on our Transecco Network, which you call television, we elect representatives to periodically meet, and to discuss issues, and present themselves on a series of Transecco occasions, as we call them, similar to your TV shows. We refer to them as Comiticians.

They appear on such occasions as Face the Parama, Prosonia Has Extraordinary Virtues, Gleeb In, and one, in a rather large room, with all the Comiticians in attendance, and we call it, the Transecco Consonial Gathering, similar to your Congress.

All of the Comiticians try to out talk each other, do their mono speeches, and in general, try to see who can outtalk each other.

One portion of the Transecco Consonial Gathering, and one of the more popular segments, is Monosonian, which is a game type atmosphere where each Comitician attempts to spend more Magandosh (money in your terms) on various things such has structures, and zorns and spannas and vanishins, the latter being things of not particular value or purpose. The amount of Magandosh on the segment seems unlimited and each Comiticians tries to spend the most.

All of the Comitician that appear at the Transecco Consonial Gathering receive health care for life, and an extremely liberal gonsage (salary in your terms) for life along with many other things they receive from individual Prosonians who try to buy their favors for one reason or another.
